The ING Night Marathon Luxembourg will take place on May 20th this year, and we are pleased to announce that SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is its main humanitarian partner.
Nearly 16,000 runners are expected for this 16th edition of the 42 km race in the Luxembourgish capital. Let’s turn this amazing sports event into a solidarity challenge by joining forces for vulnerable children!
Running to support children from Madagascar
This year, all the funds raised during the event will support our emergency response programme in Madagascar. The Great South of the Island, mainly agricultural, is experiencing the worst drought the region has known for 40 years. Since the end of 2021, our association has been supporting a project that aims to enable several hundred families to feed themselves and deal with the problem of malnutrition that affects their children.

A long-lasting partnership
Although the 2020 and 2021 editions of the race have been canceled due to the pandemic, we would like to highlight the strong commitment of the organisers of the ING Night Marathon, which has led to a valuable collaboration for vulnerable children around the world.

Last year, a public mobilisation raised funds to provide Venezuelan migrant children in Colombia with decent living conditions and try to reunite them with their families.
We would like to thank Erich François, director of Step-by-Step SA, for his renewed trust in our NGO and his commitment to our cause.
